Things to do - Places to go

There is just so much to do and see in this area of Dorset that we find a lot of our customers need to come back because they haven't had enough time to do everything. And because everyone is different we have tried to categorise some of the things you can do and places to visit in the area.

Reviews

"As mentioned in many previous reports if you have a tent this is a must place to camp. The sloping site at first glance looks very uneven but when you explore further many flat pitches can be found. The small facility block is really good for this size of site and is well appointed and very clean. In my opinion the key to this site is to keep it as is - it's what the customers want and love, so why change a winning formula. Brilliant little campsite..." AA site Inspectorate 2017

"Just got back from a 3 night stay here and have to say it's one of the best campsites we've been to so far." AUG 2017

"We stayed at Acton Field in the late part of October, although quite a risk from a weather perspective, we were extremely lucky. The location is absolutely stunning, great facilities and breath-taking walks." Dec 2016

"We found this campsite last summer after 25 years of camping in the Purbecks and wished we had found it earlier!" Sept 2016
